Hi all--

Sorry to crash your board, but thought you might be pleased with what I stumbled across in the page 2 "Who's News" section of the USA Weekend, found in many Sunday papers.

Q: How old is Christy Carlson Roman, still seen as junior high student Ren Stevens on Disney Channel's Even Stevens? What is she doing now?

A: Roman, 19, is a sophomore at Barnard, but she's taking this semester off for career reasons. At press time she was waiting to hear whether she'll star as Belle in Broadway's Beauty and the Beast; if not, she has another idea: "trying to create my own [TV] show based on my summer internship in Washington, D.C." She's a poli sci major and a Sigma Delta Tau. "Yeah, I'm a sorority chick," she admits.

I just spend 5 days in NYC and saw Beauty and the Beast. Y'all should be VERY proud of your sis, she is very talented!

Thanks, I think she is an amazing actress and wish I could go see her in Beauty and the Beast. I am hoping that if I ever go to convention, that she will be there and I will get to talk to her and share each others memories of SDT together.

Hey, no problem! It's really a wonderful show, and I really thought she was PERFECT for the role of Belle.
