HELP! SDSU folks or anyone who knows San Diego

One of my girlfriends was going on and on about a dessert place she visited when she was in San Diego recently. It is in the Hilltop section of the city and is called "--------- Desserts".

Anyone know the name of this place?

When you say Hilltop, are you talking about Hillcrest (one of the smaller sections of San Diego)?

ETA: If you are talking about Hillcrest, here's a desserts shop called Extraordinary Desserts:

If you're a lover of sweets--heck, if you've ever eaten a dessert at all--you owe it to yourself to visit this unique cafe. Chef and proprietor Karen Krasne's name features prominently on the sign, as well it should: Krasne's talent surpasses the promise of her impressive pedigree, which includes a Certificate de Patisserie from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. Dozens of divine creations are available daily, and even the humble carrot cake is savory enough to wow naysayers. Others include a raspberry linzer torte layered with white-chocolate buttercream; Grand Marnier chocolate cheesecake on a brownie crust, sealed with bittersweet ganache; and, 24-karat chocolate praline dacquoise--crunchy chocolate praline mousse balanced by Frangelico-soaked hazelnut meringues and coated with dark chocolate and gold leaf. Originally educated in Hawaii, Krasne likes to incorporate island touches like macadamia nuts, ultra-fresh coconut, passion fruit, and pure Kona coffee. Her Parisian experience is also represented; the shop sells tea and accoutrements from the fine salon Mariage Frères. If you're trying to moderate your diet, eat at the Vegetarian Zone next door--it helps justify dessert!

No problem...I just did a web search for the Hillcrest area and desserts, and figured that there weren't likely to be too many dessert specialty stores

Now, if I could only go in there and enjoy all those desserts....

Who's been going to Extraordinary Desserts for years. My favorites are the fruit tarts, the Napoleon and the lemon ricotta and lemon praline tortes. Yum.
