Make your own GLO movie!
If you were to make your own big budget movie about a GLO, how would you do it? How would you make the (fictitious) GLO positive sounding, but yet, still interesting for the viewers?

It'd be difficult. Successful movies don't usually buck stereotypes. If they do, it's only a very small part of the movie or it's the movie's theme.
If you're wondering why there are so few movies that feature Greek Life in a positive manner, that's it. Legally Blonde may be the only one that shows GLO's in a positive way that I can think of. As far as fraternity movies, you kind of have to give the public what it wants... beer and stupidity.

Well, as positive as one can get. Anyway, what about a GLO movie that is based on the foundation of organizations like AOII, which was founded when a Jewish girl wasn't given a bid? That could work...It would probably have to be a period piece.

The only thing I can really think of off the top of my head is to have a sister (or brother) have a major life crisis and have the sisters help them through it....

I was thinking the same thing! Well, not exactly, lol.
If it were up to me, it would be a period piece that sorta spanned from the early 1900's to the dawn of the civil rights era.

I think an independent film about the lives of four sisters, each in her own world yet drawn together by the bonds of sisterhood and friendship.
The mom, the career woman, the socialite, the free spirit.
Oh wait. They made that. The First Wives Club. Instead of GLO, it was a roommate situation.
How about following the life of a young woman as she goes through rush? Although for dramatic necessity, she would be in love with one house that was totally wrong for her, would she get in or not?
Then in the end she would get in, but would turn her back on them to hang out with her nerdy friends. Oh wait. They did that in Saved by the Bell: the College Years.
I have no original ideas.
