This is thread where I tell you the truth.

Okay first things first. Republican? Democrat? It doesn't matter. There is only one party. There was always only ever one party and there will always be only one party. The American Revolutionary Party has been in power since the 1700's. George Washington even reffered to the other founding fathers as the party.

We are still in control, don't you ever forget it. To give up power is to place it in the hands of your enemies. I don't think we should do this. All of this talk about Republicans and Democrats... they try so hard to be political parties, but they never will be. Neither of them has any firm set believes. They're both just conglomorates of special interest groups. I don't trust any of them.

I really think its sad I have to make this thread, but it seems like everyone forgot that we had to fight a war against a manical tyrant to even have a country. We were and remain one of the first, and definitly strongest, out of all Revolutionary Powers.

NEXT TOPIC

The next topic is France. We cannot ever, under any circumanstance go to war with this country. Why not? Because General Washington,-the leader of OUR revolution-had a gentleman's agreement with the Marque d' La Fayette. LaFayette supplied us with stuff we needed during the Revolutionary War. They took their time for a while, but they did have the whole freaking British Naval Blockade on both coasts plus warfare on the open seas to deal with. In exchange for all this, Washington said the U.S. would help LaFayette's plans in France. We helped them. Liberty, Equality, Fraternity, these are international values. We share them with the French Republic. That brings up another topic...

WE ARE A REPUBLIC!!! More to the point, we are a FEDERAL REPUBLIC. We are not Illinois and friends. We're not Texas, et cettera. We, the People, are the UNITED STATES. If states rights activists don't like, well...TOUGH SHIT! I can't belive we let half of you in. Seriously, all congress is people trying get money for their own state, I hate every one of those bastards.

Here is a brief U.S. history lesson....we were founded by 10 Colonies who were pissed off at the motherland. The original plan was to unify with a Certain Northern Provence, but that fell through. Then Ct, RI, and GA decided that they better go along with us. Then we took over everything. Most of the southwestern states don't even really belong in our country. We stole Texas. First we stole it from Mexico and we were going to keep it but then some international thing happened and they started sending ambassadors to Europe. Then the U.S. ambassoador who happened to be from Virginia (i.e., one of the real states) went up to the Texan and was like
"look, I'll get more land for Texas if you join the Union."
The Texan was really homesick and tired of English food so he agreed. Then we took half of Mexico and made them Annexed States.

And you know what, we're not done. I'd like to see a union of Federal North American Republics really soon. We should negotiate with Cananda, Incorporate our Latin neighbors to the south, and Annex the entire Carribean. My ideas might sound crazy, but not as crazy as letting Wyoming have senators. If Wyoming gets senators because of manifest destiny, then we can at least try to enforce the Monroe Doctirine.

We've sold out our of ideals that we had at the founding of this Nation.

I also think that post was quite interesting, especially being an American Studies major

that my friends is the funniest damn thing i've read all day.

BUT, i'll put this to you. Wyoming is more deserving of senators than North Dakota. ND is the only state in the union who's population DECREASED on the last census. by 74 people. Or basically, half.

Seriously, i don't think there's 74 people in Bismark, unless they're counting cows too. Talk about a waste of interstate highways.

Kitso
KS 361 times South Dakota's not much better, but at least it's got presidents faces on a mountain. In the Black Hills. Which were stolen from the Lakota. By the white man.

I think the only reason north dakota is a state is because canada didn't want it and we had to keep the border in a straight line.
