Celebration & A question

YAY! I was just elected president of my chapter. I am sooo excited

Question: Any ideas on how to integrate a transfer into the chapter? We have a transfer who commutes & is very busy...I want her to feel welcome, but it is hard when she won't be going through the new member program. Should we give her a new big? Any advice would be appreciated!!

Congratulations & good luck on your new position!

It is very thoughtful of you to consider the needs of your transfer student. Since she is busy, you might drop her a note to welcome her and then follow-up with an e-mail asking what you can do to help her get more comfortable with the chapter. She may not want a new big but it would be nice of you to ask her.
