Here's my rant.

My boyfriend's 23rd birthday is on December 6th. I was planning on taking him to Hooters for a surprise birthday party complete with all his fraternity brothers (and me paying for all the beer). Well I'm calling up his bro's and all and making plans when on my last call of the night I call the VP. He then informs me none of the guys can do it because they have to be at the stupid flea market raffling off their retarded 4-Wheeler (in which they are losing MAJOR money on). I mean, c'mon, it takes 2 guys to sit there and sell tickets. Grrrr. TKE209 has had some pretty crappy birthdays and I was trying to have a great one for him and this happens. I'm just ticked right now. Now I have no idea what to do.

Kick them all and tell them if it was doing something with the you know who girls they would be all up on it. In case you have a brain fart and can't figure out who I mean think of Broken Nose and you will know which gals I mean.

Why not move the party to Friday night?? I'm sure you'll all be celebrating past midnight and will, hence, celebrate on his birthday. I would think that since Friday isn't his birthday it would make it even more of a surprise.

why don't you do the party after the flea market?

Yeah, before or after the flea market. That way, all the brothers can come and your boyfriend won't suspect anything. Have you noticed guys get all weird when you try to get them to change something they've already decided their going to do, especially if it involved a group of other guys?
