BUNAC "Work in Britain"

Okay, So I leave on the 29th of December to move to London for 6 months. I've got my flight, i've got my work visa, i've got my cv. Now I need to get a job, and a place to live.

My question is has anyone done this program, or is anyone currently living in london who might have some pull with a company. I've got an Engineering degree, so I'd like something in that field, but I''ll do most anything that affords me the financial liberties to travel on the weekends

Any advice?

Sorry Cory - no great advice here but congrats on getting to move to London - sounds like an awesome time. The only advice I guess I have is to network with your nationals and your college alumni association - maybe there are opportunities they know of.

Hope all else is good!

No advice from me, but congratulations. And let me just say I am so jealous of you, I love London. Definitely travel as much as you can while you're there, and try to get down to Italy, it's awesome.

For place to live bad news: London is the least friendly place in the world. This is according to my friend who lives there. Good luck.
