I've been fired once! And I still to this DAY can't believe it. Lemme tell yall, lol.
I was hired as an admissions counselor for a court reporting school. Well, the director of the school was a Black woman, had her Ph.D. Well, at the end of my first day, I'd confided in her how nice it was to see a Black woman in her position, how it was motivational, blah blah blah. On my second day, she told me she didn't know how exactly to take what I had told her, and was leaning toward being offended. That was RED FLAG number one.
RED FLAG #2, her daughter is an AKA perp. I wasn't a soror at the time, so all I could do was sit and STEW about it.

Anyway, she did next to nothing, but she got her own parking spot, while I had to pay. Bunch of BS.
RED FLAG #3. They told me not to be personable with the potential students.

That is JUST the opposite of me, lol, I'm a social butterfly! So I tried, yall, I did. But me and this one dude were having a conversation, and we were joking and laughing, I wanted him to be comfortable. She saw that.
The next day (14 days after I started) she fired me. Told me that they didn't want the potential students to be comfortable because (get this) if they were, it would be easier for them to say NO to enrollment. They wanted to push for the students to enroll REGARDLESS of whether or not it was the right time for them. I told her I was glad that she was firing me, because I don't get down like that. That is fake and phony. I left and never looked back.
My next job put me in telecom. So I see it as a blessing. That chick was CRAZY!!
