as stated in a previous thread, its funny how now everyone is rooting for Florida. Isn't this the team people hated last week?
Personally the marlins did me a huge favor by beating the cubs so I have no preference in the WS.

That's because no matter how much you might hate any given team at any time, the Yankees are always worse.
My temporary hate for the Marlins is overshadowed by my perennial hate for the Yankees.

Ditto!
I only wanted the Cubs to win because one of my profs would have cancelled class during the series. Since they didn't, I hate the Marlins, however, I think the Yankees are not nice all year, therefore, Go MArlins!

You must be one of them bitter slackjawed yokels boy. We beat the Marlins. I sat in a sweet seat singing foul sounds about the Mets and Red Sox because beating the Marlins ass so bad got a little boring by the 6th inning.

I must agree that Boston did give the Yankees an excellent run for their money. Great playoff!!!!!
My fiance is a die-hard Yankee fan, I'm a New Yorker - my loyalty lies with the Yankees!!

Agreed.
I LOOOOVE My Yankees! I mean shoot, I'm from the BRonx- it's like a religion out here!
I gotta say though, the World Series is almost an afterthought for me- most people around here were just so focused on the Yankees-Sox games that this is almost anticlimactic.

I totally agree - can you imagine someone from the Bronx who's not a Yankee fan?? I would feel really sorry for that individual.
I also think that the Series will wind up being anticlimatic. The Yankees-Sox playoff was off da hook!!

Yes I can! One Soror who grew up off of Gun Hill Rd, yet is somehow a Mets fan!!!!!
I dunno how that one works....
We had a seriously fun rivalry going during the subway series though. That was SUCH a good time to be in the city, lots of energy all round. We went out and she wore her Mets shirt and I was in my Yanks apparel, natch. People were pleading with me to show her the error of her ways, lol.
