What was I thinking? Qualcomm always holds the Gold Coast Classic. I recall Grambling playing Winston-Salem one year, and Norfolk State played Delaware State another year.

My School don't have a football team, but the first College Football Game I attended was in 1994 at Norfolk State University's Homecoming. I had a great time. the most recent game I attended was the Ohio Classic this past Septemeber at Cleveland Browns Stadium. The game between Hampton and Tuskegee wasn't all that ( Hampton Blew them out) but the Battle of the Bands was awesome.

I think my first game was the first game of the year, my freshman year!! It was so crazy!! I couldn't believe all the girls in the go greek shirts and the alcohol that was all over. I really don't remember tooo much about the game except that it was definitely an experience!!! The first football game I actually have a vivid memory of was homecoming 2001!!! It was so awesome, everyone I knew was trashed and my ZBT boys smuggled in so much alcohol (they strapped like huge amounts to their body in some plastic thing). I remember sitting with some theta xis and cheering so loudly and definitely getting hot and feeling more and more intoxicated from the sun as the game went on!!!! SOOO Much fun!!!

Thanks Snake!

My first college football game was at Ohio State (that's OSU to those in that part of the country) when I was in Cub Scouts.

Since I spent the better part of thirty football seasons in TV remote units televising games, I have had the thrill of visiting some of the GREAT football stadiums in the country.

So, here's my personal opinion on the best place in the country to watch a football game -- I think you'll be surprized:

It's Mackie Stadium at the United States Military Academy at West Point.

The stadium, it's surroundings and the traditions are absolutely magnificent.

The school that I go to now does not have a football team. So, about three years ago, I went down to college station with one of my roommates to see his little brother march during half time. It was Oklahoma State vs Texas A&M, victory went to A&M. The songs, chants, students, and fans were great. We stayed for lunch, went to meet some of our fraternity brothers down there, and then drove back home.
