Question about littles...

Any input would be fabulous:


My chapter background:
We have eight sisters
We handed out 21 bids
We have 10 definates basically
We may end up with more

Problem:
We have 3 sisters who JUST got into TBS at the end of last semester. We do not require MCs (new members) to attend chapter meetings, so they basically never came. Two of them are on exec - a VPService and a treasurer. We have enough littles now that it would come back around to the three new girls. BUT I was talking to our VPMembership tonite about this... most of us didnt get littles until we were Juniors. Jess, the VPM was an exception cos it came around to her - she got in last fall and got our VPS as a little in the spring (jess is my little) Jess said it was hard not knowing what was going on and geting a little.

So I suggested that the "extra" littles be given to older sistes who know what theyre doing and dont have to worry about figuring out what to do. I also think that the older sisters can balance having chapter responsiblities and more than one little better than a new sister.

Am I wrong? Cos my grand little is pissed at me about this.

I know by us it happens a lot that the big is from the pledge class before us...it helps because they just went through the process and remember very clearly what it's like to be a NM
