I went to a party with Green tonight!

This time only sophomores were invied and I had such a great time! A lot of girls remembered me and came up to say hi and that felt so great! These girls are so sweet and so down to Earth, they really appeal to that side of me, but I know I could have fun with Blue and really be myself.

I don't know what I'd do if I got a bid from both..

But I find out September 25th, I can pick up any potential bids between 1 and 4. If I get a bid I will get a message on it saying where to meet my Sisters at 5 PM.

It would be so sad if I didn't get a bid, but at least now I know its something I truly want to do, because that was really my goal to begin with, but gaining 70 or 80 new best friends would be a plus too ^_^.

Hi Guys,

I'm waiting on a possible invite-only pref party, but I'm really confused as to whether its going to happen in the first place..

In the meantime, Blue's party was cancelled last Wednesday and they're the ones who might be having this pref party..

I'm so confused

But, Bid day is still this Thursday and to my best knowledge Green is not having anymore parties.

We'll see if I'll be getting ready for Spring Rush as a sister or another PNM.

Not that this needs to be added to bg's fabulous rush thread, but my friend is all rushing now at Longwood University and she finds out the same day as me. I heard that it was called "the mother of sororities" because four NPC groups were founded there over the years. =D I should check on how shes doing..

So, I just got an email from the head of Panhellenic recruitment. The quota(?) for the 6 sororities taking girls this fall is 70

(BTW Delta Zeta did not hold fall rush this time).

Of the 140 girls rushing, there are only spots for 62.
I know Blue will only be taking about 3 people!
But I know that green is a smaller sorority and so they may be taking around a dozen (but don't quote me on that!)

I think the only way I'll get a bid this fall is through green, and they've had an average of 20 rushees coming to their parties.
The numbers make me even more nervous!

I think you mean that campus total or ceiling is 70. That means each sorority can only give bids until they have 70 sisters and pledges combined. DZ, I am guessing, already has 70.

There isn't a quota since this isn't formal rush.
