I'm going out on a limb and wearing my badge to work today, since it's the first day of Rush at Muhlenberg today. I've been at work for an hour and a half and no one has said anything...If no one says anythng today, I'm gonna wear this baby first Monday of every month like we did when we were collegiates. ;-)

Wearing it sans dangles and chapter guard though. I thought that would be a bit much....

Moonstar17, I went alum in may, and i have not graduated yet (this may-04). And i indeed asked to be included in the graduating classes' 3D. It was wonderful (although it was though helping with recruitment this fall as an alum just wanting to jump in there all the time) but i say go for it. I gave a lil piece of me to all my sisters

and even cooler, i saw one of them using something i gave them! yay! (phi mu id holder my grandma bought me but i haddn't used it but twice, so i gave it to my adopted lil sis.

I haven't been able to wear my badge in a while

. However, I am now in pin wear almost every day. The other day, I noticed my boss was carrying a letter tote, so I had to ask. (She's a Sigma Gamma Rho, btw) I work in a bank, and her response was... "I don't care what you wear -- as long as it doesn't say Fifth Third or Key Bank." lol Yay!

Whoa, whoa, whoa..... in regards to the little sis crying:

You'd cry too if your big got up in front of everyone and recited the lyrics to "It's Time For Saying Goodbye"- you know, the song from the Muppets! And then, she tells the entire Sisterhood to "Take care of [her] little."

Oh man.... that's ok though. The family tradition continued. At my 3D my little bawled too..... I was also able to get our highly unemotional former president to cry her eyes out too.... cause, yeah, I'm good like that. *pats self on back*

and btw, bring on the pink wine!
