Dumb Commericals

The dumbest commercials out there are the Geico and Progressive Ones.

All the Progressive Ones are stupid. In Virginia, housecalls costs you. No one is going to come to your house for a free estimate. Well not in Virginia. Why can't they call the other four competitors? What's wrong with the fools they can only dail one phone number per week.

The Geico commercial especially the one with the lawyer. Getting that poor prisoner all sike up like his about to get out of prison. I want to see the prisoner beat the crap out of him. (I'm not a violent person. But that lawyer deserves to get his butt kick).

Question has anyone else noticed this?

(1) mc donald's (it features their infamous jingle "two all beef patties, special sauce, special cheese" done in hip-hop style)
(2) starburst (it focuses on a guy's back pockets as he goes through the city and keeping one's (?) butt happy (?) )
(3) verizon (with the breakdancers and the term "Free-Up")

all three commercials are done with "black"-oriented music and/or themes (rap/ol' skool rap/breakdancing, urban life, etc.), yet, there are NO BLACK PEOPLE in them...

NOTE: the mickey-dee's commercial DOES have black men--but no black women...all of them make for interesting commentary, imho

Smile Hate it!

I honestly HATE that commercial with Geico. I think it is so insensitive and makes fun of people in prison. I had a bad experience with Geico this year so I am not too pleased with any of their commercials.

ugh

The VW "pods unite" commercial. It is so off key it irritates me everytime I hear it.

Any Verizon commercial...the "can you hear me now" is getting a little tired.

And I'm starting to get weary of the MasterCard commercials. Is everything priceless!

I think its MUDD jeans where this girl is with her boyfriend and just goes and stands in the sprinklers while he looks at her. The end result she's wet and looking all scrawngy and they laugh.

Subway -- the ones with Jared are cool, but the ones with the two AA brothers who lost the weight needs a different direction. WTF did they have to include the "relative" who couldn't tell them apart before or after the weight loss? Comic relief?
