White or Grey
Ok girls, if you could choose the color of your bid day shirt...would you go with white or grey?

Grey, because sometimes you can see through white. But I guess it really depends on the colors in the design...

Much as I don't like the "see-thru-ability" of white, I abhor grey. The only grey t-shirt I have has been washed enough times to look more off-white than grey, or I would never wear it.
Plus, your colors show up better on white.

Ok, here's the reason I asked the question about colors...
Our chapter voted for these pretty green bid day shirts. However, the place ruined them (it turned out to be a slimy greenish yellow color) and I don't really have enough time to order another green shirt. Sooo, now it's basically between grey and white. The lettering on the shirts is going to be pink and green...I really want the grey shirts, but I think a large portion of our chapter is leaning towards the white. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't alone in thinking grey was a better option.

Make sure it is a very pale grey...that is the only prob with it...sometimes what you see on the sample and what you end up with are 2 different things. White, on the other hand, is white.

And AEPhi's colors are green and...... never mind
Seriously - I'd go for white IF it were a good enough quality T-shirt.

You've hit the nail on the head! Quality t-shirts shouldn't show everything you own - whatever color you choose!

hrm... I'd say gray shirts may be more flattering on more people, but white shirts look more dressy.
Sorry about your shirt fiasco--I think every chapter has had one!

I'll be the one to go against the grain, but I'd say white. I think it looks cleaner, and green and pink will show up better than on grey. Plus, if you are using them during the summer, grey just isn't the best color in warmer areas... you don't want to see all your girls pitting out!

I'd normally say grey, but after you said the colors that would be on the t-shirt, I think white would show them off better and look better. By the way I'm sorry to hear about the green shirts... I absolutely love kelly green t-shirts... and when we were voting on Greek Week color shirts, I wasn't around for the vote, but one of my sisters thought of me and my love for kelly green and put it on the list as one of the choices and girls started voting for it. Kelly green won out, but the shirts didn't come out as kelly green-- it was a darker green that didn't look good with the other colors on our shirts.

White be right! Colors stand out better!
Why do women wear white when getting married
Men in Black!
Men are more depressed!
Gray looks dirty, black looks evil!
So sue me!
