Are there any guys or girls out there that know a bit about cars. My front right wheel goes we we we we and is more audible when going slow. It seems to occur after heavy acceleration or heavy forward breaking. If I pop it into reverse, accelerate, and slow down quickly the sound goes away for a few days. The 'WE's come at the same time the brakes grab a bit firmer but also come when I am not braking.
I am looking for some advice so I have an idea what the mechanic is going to say when he/she tries to screw me over.
It be a scrapin' dudes. I heard about those break tabs and what not but I have an extended warranty on the car that doesn't cover breaks and the "customer replacables" SO I was hoping it was Nissan's fault (the car being a Nissan Altima). I'll have the breaks freakin' looked at and see whats up. Hopefully they only cost under $10000000000!
As for a new axle, I hope not and don't think so. I know I have probably bent my strut tower because of a brush with falling off the road will driving very very fast and falling to a ditch then hitting 3 pottholes and then a curb. I BROKE the rim! Yup. Axle, they said, was just peachy but mah strut tower is a bit bent. I gotta have that replaced and what not but the only sideeffect of it is that the car pulls right a bit and I ain't super worried about it. I just don't want to be one of those cars that goes we we we we we down the street. Annoying and the girls don't like it.
