Good morning everybody. A man I know was just released from prison after serving 10 years for a rape he DID NOT commit. The so-called "victim", who picked him out of a line up because he was the ONLY AFRICAN-AMERICAN, recanted her story. Now, if you were the judge, what would you do to bring about justice? What would you do with her?

I'd sentence her to 10 years and make her compensate the man (who is the real victim) and his family financially. You have to PAY for IGNORANCE!!!

Did she recant her story because she "Believes" that she made a mistake, or did she just knowingly lie from the start?

she knowingly lied from the start. He was the only black man in the line up, and she was saying this to hide the truth about how she got a sucker bite on her neck. She was twelve years old when the trial started.
