What you do is call those white folx on their game... Let me tell you my story in how I dealt with it:
I got on a board that was off this cable TV channel and about a show... There was an episode that disgusted every Afrikan American person that watched that show. But that was after this episode aired!!! I stated my feelings before the show aired and all the negroes cursed me out and told me to get over it. Then, when the show aired, those same negroes cursed the white folxs out. Then the klansmen got on the board and said stuff like, "I need to check my scalp to make sure no stubble is growing..." or "I'm getting my gasoline and logs ready for the picnic tonight..." Negroes got scared and didn't address the issue. I attacked the klan right back, knowing that I will read all kinda "N" word this and that. But then, I made a concession, that the only way these writers of this TV show can correct their actions is have one of their characters deal with a white supremist...
Folks just had to "goad" me on... So I wrote a story about ALL the stereotypes folks have against white people--trying to show the ignorance in having stereotypes, overall!!! So my klansmen got all over my case. In my story, I ended it with, "The girl ran out of the trailer park with her cell phone calling her friends to come pick her up because she could swallow the possum the family that looked all alike was eating and that old mangy hound dog with fleas begging for food. And she just couldn't get her last stench of thathouse which smelled like rhubarb pie!!!" OHHHH, you should've read the comments I got...

.
Anyhow, when the Klansmen were saying they were going to have a cross burning, I asked if can I come with marshmellows to their cross burning? And of course they said, "ONLY if they are WHITE!!!"
Then, I said, "But baby, you gotta love the taste of chocolate when your making s'mores..."
After that, the Klansmen and I became friends and we started tag teaming folxs on their stupidity... It's kinda funny when you think about it. Here I am this small Afrikan American lady going up against this racist Klansmen--only to discover that all of us have to notice the stereotypes and realize that all cultures have certain "things" about them that they find "shameful" and others find "amusing"...
I got more of them if you'd like to email me about it... As I get older, I'm getting better on calling folks on their game...
