2 - particularly works by southern writers (Tennessee Williams, Eudora Welty, Alice Walker)
6 - Especially the New York Public Library Desk Reference. I know I'm a geek, but this book is so interesting! Besides, I'm a trivia buff.
5 - The Vancouver Sun, Globe and Mail and National Post. When I'm done rotting my brain, I read the NY Times or the San Jose Mercury News. Or Salon. Or the Weekly World News, especially when there's a BatBoy story.
4 - Entertainment Weekly, baby! I also like cooking magazines, and Harper's. Soap Opera magazines when I'm standing in checkout lines.

Here are my reading preferences:
2 - I love to read mysteries, poetry and literary novels - I am writing a mystery, poems and short stories
6 - I enjoy research, especially when I get inspiration for future projects
4 - I try to read Natural Health, Vegetarian Times, and magazines that are about writing
1 - I don't mind reading Nonfiction, but sometimes it bores me
5 - I know I should read one daily, but...
