OOOh, recently I was in the furniture, telling my spoiled, but well behaved daughter that I was looking for a bedroom set for her.

Well, she started getting antsy, and got her little self on a piece of furniture. All I said was, "Get down. right this second." and she got down.

I was amazed when a total stranger came up to me, and told me how she could see that my daughter was being "raised", and what a difference it made.

That stranger's comment really made me feel good.

I try to be very "OLD SCHOOL" with my daughter. There are still some of us out here.

Good for you. That's how my husband and I plan to be when we are blessed with children one day. When we are at the store and we see bad azz kids running up and down the aisle we say "Oh no...we will have NONE of that" Some folks give their kids "time out" What the heck is that? Nothing wrong with a pop on the booty. Not child abuse....a pop on the booty!
