O.K. a FUN party theme idea!

I had written earlier about the "Pimps and Ho's" theme and if it was disrespectful. Well, another group on campus came up with a GREAT theme which is sort of similar. In San Francisco, every Halloween and New Years Eve there is a party called the "Exotic/Erotic Ball", where people wear whatever sleazy outfit they want! There are NO connotations regarding offending anyone, because no one group is singled out! If women want to dress as ho's, then they can and if men want to wear nothing but a jockstrap or a towel or their underwear, then that's all right too! There were women in bikinis and in their bra and panties, and some wearing less than that! The group that had it said it was a BIG success! To get party goers into the mood, they actually showed a cartoon porno film on the wall (it wasn't really dirty, it was actually quite funny). Just a thought for a party theme...I wish we had thought of it!

OMG!! I don't think I will ever see my sisters or any of the chapters here at my school going for that kind of party. We would get in major trouble!

Virginia Beach has this kind of party every New Year's Even too. . . it's a huge success from what I've gathered.

I think this would be a huge success if you've got the right kind of people for it - I think it'd work great at UVA.

The only problem with this is that it's either going to be a complete BLOWOUT or a complete WASHOUT. If you don't get enough people at the party, it's going to suck, straight up. The place needs to be packed for something like this to work out or else everyone just feels silly.

yeh that would deff NOT float here either.... plus i think that would make the GLO's involved not look so good....

Geez, getting a little close to the border of racey meets full-blown orgy. Why bother with the towels and bras, have a nudist colony mixer theme. Eliminate the undertone of what you're really trying to get people to do.
