Lightbulb My new phrase

Is...."pregnant chad"...I think this is hilarious, though I am no longer laughing at this presidential mess...I love to say "pregnant chad." I'm thinking of having a "pregnant chad" event, but just haven't thought of why yet. Today I feel a bit like a "pregnant chad," perhaps from all the Thai food I ate last night...Am I nuts or what?

Discogoddess,

maybe you can explain what it means for those of us who are not as savy as you.

Thanks.

Wink

Funny Discogoddess!!! (DG--in light of all that has been happening...it's good to have a good chuckle every now and again )

Last night, Jay Leno made a comment about the "pregnant chad"...and said "I wonder who is responsible for all of those pregnant chads in Florida?" After he said that, the screen behind him had Bill Clinton on there laughing. (when you picture this...you will be chuckling as I was last night)

The pregnant chad refers to the Florida ballots that are "dimpled." A clearer definition: the tiny piece of paper that a voter is supposed to punch out of a hole but which is sometimes left partially attached.

Thank you, Nikki25! Sorry I didn't elaborate earlier; I thought everyone had been hearing this term on the news...

Many blessings this weekend, sorors and friends!
