Favorite Founder?
Which founder do you most identify with ASIDE FROM Frank Reed Horton?
I would have to say Everett Probst....why? He was in a social fraternity in addition to APO (like me). He went on to get a higher degree (like me...some day). And I think more than that, since he was one of the Founders of the Krescents as well as APO, I think that shows his ability to be dedicated to more than one cause, a quality that I hope I am able to emulate in my life.
How about you?

dardenr, I'd have to agree with you bruh....Everett W. Probst is my favorite founder, but for a different reason. He was the designer of our beloved coat-of-arms. I've seen many different coat-of-arms from different organizations, and only one's greater than APO...of course it's not hard to guess which coat-of-arms I am referring to.Our shield is the most perfect representation of what our founder's stood for and what this great fraternity stands for. Since I couldn't pick the Lightbearer, I had to pick Probst. Besides the meaning and the rituals, designing our shield to me was an awesome task. For Probst to dig deep and come up with what he did, is awesome. As I stated earlier, there is only one shield more beautiful and than that of APO's.

Dr. Everett W. Probst
I would have to say Dr. Probst because of his excellent show of LEADERSHIP by founding TWO fraternities and being an outstanding member of BSA. I'm also priviliged to attend the university from which he he got his M.D.. Go Violets!

What makes a fraternity:
shield, secret handclasp, passwords, signs, membership pins, etc.
My favorite would be Everett W. Probst. Not only was he essential with the founding of the frat, drawing of membership pin and coat-of-arms, but he helped to find the Krescents (Kappa Delta Rho). That's a lot!
