What is up with Destiny's Child?

Soror, Beyonce is the "lead vocalist". She is the ONE that sings ALL the time...

But, I remember also hearing that they had a 3-album deal with their record company. So, that means that whatever they put out next, a album of remixes or whatever...it will probably be the last one.

FYI, the new girl, that remains WAS a background singer for the girls when they first came out.

If anyone watched when they appeared on BET, you could tell that Beyonce and Kelly were taking the show.

It was sad but also hilarious.LOL. But the two new girls had to share one mic (I mean both of them literally had there hand on the same mic), while Beyonce and Kelly were hogging the whole show.

Ah-ite, ya'll. What the heck is Destiny's Child's problem?? Is Beyonce trippin' or something? I remember they got rid of two members earlier this year. But now they've lost yet ANOTHER member! I'm not familiar with the names, so when the D.J. made the annoucement I didn't know which one he was referring to until I saw them on MTV. Man, the tension was IN THE AIR!! I don't know if MTV was doing a special on them particularly or not, because I came in on the end. But I remember seeing only three of the group members perform. Immediately following the performance, Beyonce was showing out for the camera regarding how wonderful their performance was. And she asked how "the ladies" felt, but she only handed the mic to her cousin (the one with the short hair). The other girl seemed left out. But the crap really hit the fan when they were all in the limo, and the girl I HADN'T seen all that time was in there with her arms folded giving Beyonce and her cousin dirty looks. Beyonce and her cousin were continuing to like you wouldn't believe. They held that part for a good while, and I was just amazed at how this girl did not try to HIDE her emotions. Beyonce and her cousin were the only ones showing out for the camera while the other two girls looked on. The girl who actually performed with them FINALLY tried to add a small comment to the fun, to which Beyonce and her cousin quickly slammed (in a nice but spoiled way, mind you). It was all TOO obvious, ... and quite hilarious if I may say.

Understand that I only saw all this within about five or ten minutes. So trying to recapture a blur is rather difficult. But it should serve as useful information for any Destiny's Child fans. I think it's quite interesting that a group of FOUR people would have such a singular name referring only to ONE person. Hm. Is Beyonce living out her destiny? I heard on the Sisterly Forum that the group's manager is Beyonce's father. This is all very interesting. I can't wait for the rest of this continuing saga.

Tonight I saw the video of the remix of the song, Separated. Lo and behold, who is the lead female vocalist, but Kelly from Destiny's Child? Maybe Beyonce's not the only one with dreams of going solo.

I saw that video Separated too with Kelly singing and I have to admit that the girl has a nice voice. Personally I think she sounds better than Beyonce. That girls voice has been working my nerves for a minute now. But do you all think that Beyonce had something to do with Farrah being kicked out of the group because she posed a threat to Beyonce in the "looks" department? I wouldn't be surprised if Beyonce felt that the competition for beauty was too much and told Daddy and Mommy to get rid of the girl. I remember that was the talk on the radio when the new girls first started with the group and low and behold it happened.

I do not follow this group at all, but I happened to come across a bit of info about them in the newspaper today. The outsted group memebers, Letoya and Latavia signed a deal with Arista Records along with a Latina girl named Natasha, their new group is called Angel.

Ok, I'll start from the beginning, because I was a destiny child fanatic

I went to the concert they had in Chicago on December 10, right before they announce the first break-up.... remeber

Well they were the headlining group but all of a sudden Silk started singing and singing and singing. Then before destiny's child comes out there is this announcement that two of the members have the flu (don't qoute me, maybe they just said they were ill )So we are all disappionted and stuff, but it turns out that only Beyone' and Kelli are there (I read that Kelli is not a "real" cousin of Beyonce' they just call each other that)

But anyhow, Kelli and Beyonce' were tight.That's when I realized that the other two were really just back-up singers.

I was a part of the destiny's child fan club (don't yall be laughing at me out there either) and the word around the club was that they just got in a huge fight and that beyonce was always playing head games and she thinks she IS the group.

but anyhow, it just struck me funny that yet again someone is too ill to sing....sounds like someone getting booted
And the bad thing is that they can sANG. I justy wish they would get they act together. and if Beyonce' does goes solo, she has to really work on the attitude if she wants to make it

I want to add my 2 cents of hearsay.
A friend of mine is a singer and he told me that he and his group sang at some talent show which destiny's child was performing. He told me that Beyonce` and Kelly were in one dressing room (they were really close)and LeToya and LaTavia were in another.

This whole Destiny's Child drama made me mad. Here I see a group of talented sistah's who were blowin' up!!! Next thing you know.......BREAK UP. Now they kicked Farrah out of the group? What's going on? At the rate they are going the will be there won't be a group next year.

I think this drama has given a bad name to name Destiny's Child. They have lost me as a fan. I wont be buying anymore real CDs. I'll be supporting the "bootleg man."

LOL at the "Bootleg" man. I haven't seen one of those since I was in college. Those tapes had Side A's music titles printed on Side B and Side B's music titles were printed on Side A.

That was too funny, but I guess you get what you pay for...
