Post License Plates

Sorors,

I was reading through another site and saw these and wanted to share. http://www.nydmv.state.ny.us/col.htm Check out the AKA plates. Several of the other BGLOs are also represented. I'm going to check if my state has these.

I saw that. It's tight! I know we have plates for the various universities and a portion of the money goes to the univ, but when I checked in 94 we did not have any for Greeks. I have been wanting to get this tag name as a personalized plate for my new car, but if our state has this plate, I may just get it. Must do some investigating.

New York has them we had a campaign going. It states that it is new because we had to get the numbers (orders) first before it could go live. Anyway, I have seen the plates the blue siding and red lines are a turnoff and my name won't fit so I am sticking with my current personal plates, but they are a nice addition to your car if you like red and blue - ha (just greek jokes) chill

South Carolina does not have license plates for any greek organization. However, we do have the plates for colleges/universities and a few other organizations. I know that in this state in order for a specialized plate for an organization to be approved, there has to be a petition first. Then, there has to be a specific number of members willing to purchase the plate. Once that happens, the plate may be approved.

I just sent an LS the website to view the plates and she loved it. I told her maybe her grad chapter could head up the effort to get AKA plates in SC with the help of other sorors. I would definitely lend my support and purchase one.

Hey Sorors? Did you check the price? Whoa! I think I will stick with my plates and my AKA cover!
