Post Elian is home

I don't know how the rest of you feel, but I am so glad that little boy is home with his father. I think they should have sent that child home a long time ago. Not that I am not sympathetic to a communist government, but let us keep it real. Had Elian been a Haitian, he would have been sent back to Haiti on the innertube he floated in on before his feet had the chance to hit US soil.

Thumbs up

I totally agree with you. From the beginning I thought that this child needed to be in an environment that was familiar to him. Despite what we, as Americans, know about his country and how things are handled there, it is still his native land. I know that if my son were to wander off into unfamiliar surroundings I would want him to be at home with his father. I also think that our government gets involved in too many things that do not concern us and this issue could have been resolved long ago without all the money they spent. Okay, I'll stop now.
