war and greek week

this week is Greek week at sdsu...and if you didn't know it is also the week we started war...
i am in charge of the Greek week talent show this year, and it is tomorrow night. although i know we are having lots of fun to raise money for a charity (the Elizabeth glasier pediatric aids foundation), i feel really uneasy about what is going on in our world. i'm watching the news right now and i see the reports of the first American causalities, smart bombs, nuclear weapons, etc. i'm wondering if anyone had any ideas as to how we can start off our Greek week talent show tomorrow night, and pay respect to our troops?

maybe a moment of silence for prayer to the troops and their families?

Or get someone to sing the National Anthem...?

Our skit for the talent show is themed "Armed Forces" We will have a moment of silence during the skit.

and for some reason when you guys play "bombs over baghdad" i know people are going to go crazy.

Our Greek Week is coming up Monday. It just feels weird to be getting all pumped up and worrying about kicking the others' asses, when there's some real ass kicking goin on in the world.
