The Great Outdoors
My mom and I went yesterday, and bought flowers, and a whole bunch of seeds to plant. I absolutely love gardening!!! We bought Pansies, Sunflower seeds, forget-me-nots, canterbury bell seeds, some really pretty flowers---I can't pronounce their name!--and some carrot seeds.
I went with my grandpa this last weekend, and helped him pick out some veggies. (he has a full on garden in his backyard... which in southern california--or at least in Long Beach--isn't done too often!!!) He is planting tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, bell peppers, white onions, brown onions, and green onions. I think he might plant some corn too... Let's hope... I love homegrown corn!
Anyways, do you have a greenthumb? (and no, not like Cypress Hill! "Hello my name is Dr. Greenthumb..." hehe) If so, what do you like to plant?
Alrighty, well I better get going, I have some flowers to plant!

I once had a pretty flower,a hibicius (if that's how you spell it). Her name was Madaline. However, she decided to die on me one day. Perhaps it was because she was left outside in the cold. Or perhaps it was because I forgot to water her. Whatever the reason was, I gave up on flowers. I do not have a green thumb. I love flowers, but I just can't grow them. And you know what, I am moving in two weeks. Maybe I will try to get another pretty flower for my new place. And maybe she'll remain alive this time....I guess we'll just wait and see

Yeah, ok so I'm pretty damn sore... It turned out that our neighbors behind us have this really big nasty tree... So of course those roots were in our planter. And of course they weren't visible, so I got to find out the hard way...
Ugh! I hate that tree!!! I am seriously continplating on whether or not I should throw all the roots I had to pull out/cut off over the fence! But then I think that it's not technically their fault... Because they didn't put the tree there. BUT they also don't take care of their tree and that's why roots are growing in my planter! Can you see how upset I am?! hehe...
Man, anyways, I got a lot planted yesterday... But I'm going to plant the rest today. It'll be fun... And once they start growing---ooohh... I can't wait. It'll be so pret-ty!
Anyways, I better get started on that.

Just a silly question, but what's the weather like over in California right now? I live in Maryland, and it's like 30 something outside right now. I hate the east coast, or atleast where I live. I need to get to warm weather! To make things worse, my boyfriend and his fraternity bros are all going to Miami in a week and some of my other friends left for Myrtle Beach today. I have to work so i can't go. I just wanna go to the beach...I don't think that's too much to ask for!?! Anyway, I was just wondering how warm it is over in Cali since you are planting flowers. We still have snow left from our blizzard a month ago

Man! I am moving to where you live It's actually pretty nice right now (in the 50's), but it'll drop to 30 something or below when the sun sets. That's why all of my friends are getting sick--stupid weather!

I think Mother Nature laid off on the crack she's been into! Finally, after the winter of hell, our weather is beginning to warm up. Flowers are blooming, birds are chirping, and everyone is slowly falling into happiness! Later this week, I am going to make my trip to the flower place and buy some pretty flowers for my new apartment.
Can you tell I am in a happy mood?!
Have a good week!
