Red face Masonry? Oh No!

There was a girl on the zeta site that was saying that the symbols that the zetas do is very closely related to that of masonry. The zeta replied by saying that all of her founders were Eastern Stars, and all greeks were derived from masonry. Is this true? I heard that masonry was a form of "witchcraft" and although I am very interested in being greek (Alpha Kappa Alpha to be specific) I can't sell out on my Christianity like that. So basically what I need to know is if there is any freemasonry root to Alpha Kappa Alpha?

I'm glad Fred has been banned because he would have loved to reply to your question. To be honest, I have never heard that before. However, I can assure you that you can be an AKA and a Christian. If you check the archives in this forum, you can read what sorors had to say about this.

I must agree with you Soror AKAtude, I am glad that Fred has been banned because he would have had a "field day" with this topic. SSH1980, take AKAtude's advice and go through the archives and find the post from Tillineum. Many of my sorors and I posted our beliefs on being an AKA and a Christian. If you want to go further, feel free to post again and I for one will be glad to reply.

God bless.

Thank you so much. That is a big relief. The only sorority I am concerned about is AKA, so if you ladies have never heard of such things in your sorority it must not be true. I didn't understand how that zeta could know the back background and history in such detail about another sorority or fraternity, other than her own, anyway. Again, thankyou very much.
