Oooh, I was wondering when someone was going to start a trivia thread. I'm looking forward to brushing up on my frat ed! I know the camp was in Michigan, but I don't remember dates. Something tells me I'm not going to do well on these questions!

Okay, I remember the Michigan part too, but I am with Greeklawgirl, I don't know how well I will do. It closed when we changed out philanthropy to the foundation and also to all of Diabetes, not just juvenile diabetes. I am going to guess in the 1970's. The first chapter owned house was a house the Emily Butterfield designed, right? I remember reading how every corridor and stairwell and the entire house's makeup had a meaning to it. But maybe it was the Beta chapter because they were colonized by the time that house was built I am sure. I could be wrong.
I am probably wrong, but it is a stab in the dark!

I know Emily designed Alpha's chapter house but wasn't the first owned house Beta? I have no clue on the year though...that's my guess anyway!

The chapter house question was info that I had gotten directly from an old New Member Manual. It isn't Beta, but it is one of the single-lettered chapters.
I also have another trivia question that I hope yall can answer (because I sure don't know the answer!). Do any of you know who wrote "The Alpha Gam Girl"?

Trivia Time
Hey Girls,
I noticed that the Chi Omega and Delta Zeta threads have a Trivia post, and honestly, I just wanted to add another post so the lighbulb would light up
So, here's my trivia question: Where was the Camp located? When did it open/close?

I *THINK* it opened in 1920 in Jackson, Michigan. I have no idea when it closed, though. I remember this question from the new member test.
Another good AGD trivia question to ask:
When was the first chapter-owned house purchased? And by which chapter?

In 1912, the Iota chapter at the University of Washington purchased the first chapter-owned house.

The camp was in Jackson, MI, only about 45min from Zeta Alpha and Alpha Beta chapters! And yes, Emily did design the Alpha house. She's my girl!! And being that I am obsessed with Emily Helen Butterfield...for which fraternity did she design their coat of arms?

Hey girls...FYI, the camp was opened in 1920 (but now I can't find the closing date )
Anyway, here's a new, multiple part question (it's kinda hard)...In what years were the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation and the Sisters In Need Fund (Sisters Income Supplement) established and what were they originally called? Also, in what years did the names change?
Hint: The SIS was named after a Sister.

Okay, our new member manual says the camp was open for over 25 years so I am guessing it closed in like 1946.

I will post responses when I get home from work. I can't seem to remember now so I have to pull out my member manual!
