grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr to the snow! Snow stopped being cool when you get out of school. Where I live in Maryland, we had over two feet of snow, which is a huge amount for us to get at once. My car was covered completely and I was snowed in at my boyfriend's place for four days!!!! Then when I finally get outta his parking lot and make an attempt to go home, I realize that my neighborhood hasn't been plowed at all! So I park at my old work (like a 10 minute walk from my place) and catch a ride home with a friend. I am not a winter chic...I prefer the beach 100 times more!! Sun, please come quickly and melt all this crap away!!

I hate snow.

We got about 2 feet of snow. I didn't bother digging my car out until this morning, although I should have done it yesterday. The rest of my driveway was done, just not around my car. Luckily my little brother had a 2 hour delay for school today so he helped me dig.

We have a snow drift in our yard that's about 6 feet high. That sucker is never going to melt. We'll still have snow in April.

Ice sucks more than the snow. I wanna go back to Texas!
Over here we had plenty of ice...VERY little snow. We had classes cancelled yesterday but it's still all over the parking lots and sidewalks at school. I think that would be a good law suit...

There are mountains of snow on the sidewalks that are rapidly turning into slush. YUCK! I'm sick now, too.

I disagree that ice sucks more than snow. Well it DOES suck more than small amounts of snow, but we're dealing with 2 feet of the stuff in northern VA and it is not fun. It'll take forever to go away, many secondary roads as well as exit ramps to major roads are extremely narrow due to piles of snow covering half the road, and to top it off we're supposed to get a whole bunch of rain this weekend which means flooding! I wish all we got was ice! Of course too much ice can be very bad... like a few years ago in my hometown we had a huge ice storm complete with power outages...

On Monday there was a freezing blizzard that resulted in 2 feet of snow. Now it is 50 degrees, and there are slush puddles galore. YUCK!

Ok I am SO sick of snow! As if we didn't get enough last week, now we're getting some more!

Every morning, because of last week's snow that would melt during the day and then freeze overnight, there is ice on the parking lots and sidewalks. But, because it's snowing again now, I didn't SEE the ice patches when I left my apartment this morning... and now I've hurt my knee AND ankle

Sorry, had to vent! Where is spring????

I feel everyone's pain. This ice/snow strom we've been dealing with since Monday, has been nothing nice. And my stupid company expects me to come to work. Roads are icy,my car is a solid block of ice, and my company expects me to come to work

I'm staying home

A couple of days ago I came out of my house to find that my driveway was a solid sheet of ice. You could have played hockey on it. Unfortunately it was less than cooperative with my car... I had to spend 2 hours pouring salt on it and chipping away at it. And I had put salt down the night before...

Now the weather service can't decide if it's going to snow tomorrow and Friday or not. One moment it's a dusting, the next it's 4-6 inches. I'm supposed to be going on vacation on Friday... if my flight is cancelled I'm gonna be pissed.......
