I did once. I e-mailed the bidder and asked him if he was a fraternity brother. After he indentified himself as a Sammy, I proposed a t-shirt exchange.

Then you should know the seller.

actually,
One of my bros has a pretty lucrative business going. Anytime we end up with extra tshirts from events, he takes em and sells em on ebay.
Usually turns a nice profit, and the profits are put into our social fund.

Can't remember when I did this but in some office I heald I got rid of all of our extra t-shirts by having one of our members sell 'em on ebay. It's a great way to get cash without having to do much work..

I have bid and won many LXA Badges on ebay plus some other items of LXA!
I could care less about any other Greek Orgs. Badges but there are collectors who buy badges for their beauty.
One of my Brothers buys badges for a specific reason of which I cannot go into!
Others such as wptw is a collector who has given very great advice to the members of GC.
Some are scavangers who prey on the easy buys and resell to make money!
If you complain so hard, then why not buy the badges. Contact fellow members and see if they will help.
I have 2 Badges that are not LXA.
1 TKN, which merged with LXA
2 APO, of which I am a member
Other than that, I could care less. I see many Badges on ebay that are very beautiful, but what do they mean to me, nothing as they are not my Org.!
Quit complaining and do something if you will!

Surfing Sisters is using Ebay as a means to finally sell off the cookbooks we were selling as a fundraiser last year. We had 17 left, and I have 4 left to post before they are GONE. It'll be nice to finally sell them all and move on to other, newer things. In the days pre-ebay, they probably would have sat in someone's closet for 10 years and then tossed

i just got started selling on ebay and so far i like it. i have some of my artwork (photography) up right now, but my next sell is going to be unused sigma kappa t-shirts from my chapter. somehow i got stuck with all of the shirts after the chapter closed. go figure!

cap
wow, I'm impressed, I actually found a Kappa Delta Rho cap on e-bay. Thanks to this thread.
but it's not from my chapter... it's from Bufallo... which is all of an hour away from here (Rochester).
I think I'll buy it, $8.50, new, has letters on it, an' I need a hat anyways. Rock on

WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?
1) No one is complaining
2) Josh was talking about stuff from his own CHAPTER, not just his org.
Jesus, we're going from no one understanding what Tom is saying to Tom not understanding what he's reading.
