Note to DZ's, Phi Sigs, Chi O's, AOII, and Phi Mu from ASA

I just wanted to publicly thank DZ's, Phi Sigs, Chi O's, AOII, and Phi Mu...

DZ- your women on this campus have been wonderfully supportive. They have voulenteered to advertise and come to our interest parties

Phi Sigs & Chi O's- have also been awesome on our campus, they are bringing their PNM's from their interest parties to ours. And Chi O's are also coming to our interest party

AOII & Phi Mu- we don't have chapters of yours on our campus, but we have recieved letters and flowers from chapters from across the US...the gesture was so much appreciated.

It's times like these I'm SO proud to be Greek! It's so nice to know that we have all of your support!

Anyway--it's so nice to hear a story of Greek unity! I really hope that you and your ASA sisters have a great turn-out for your interest parties & meet bunches of great women who will become your sisters!

Hey, Jess -

I'm glad things are starting to look up for you guys. I know Dawn has been working really hard and getting you ready for recruitment. ASA has always been a strong sisterhood, and has a great history in Macomb, so I know you guys are going to be able to pull this out.

I also think it's great that so many chapters on campus are willing to help out. I prefed DZ along with Chi O, so I know those girls are awesome. I also knew a couple of girls that chartered Phi Sigma Sigma at Western, so I'm sure those girls are terrific as well. It's good to see that WIU has made advances in greek unity (back in the day it wasn't).

Oh, and how cool is it that chapters around the country have sent letters of support?! As far as I know, WIU never had a Phi Mu chapter. (I think there's only one in the state), and AOII's chapter closed at WIU in the Fall of 1985.
