I made a new creed

[Katey Alpha Gam]

OK, don't get me wrong, I love our purpose. It is all that I believe in. However, in reading all the other GLO's creeds I started thinking of what I would write if I wrote one from scratch. I think it really speaks to many of the ideals that I love of AGD and sisterhood. Let me know what you think.

I believe in true sisterhood
Ever mindful am I of the honor that I shall give and receive
to my sisters and to the world
I pledge unending loyalty to all sisters
Embracing of our differences
Awed and inspired by the unity of womanhood and sisterhood
I shall ever seek to better the world around me
Constantly fighting for justice and truth
Beauty of all that surrounds me
Beauty internal and external
Understanding the dagger words can bear
I shall watch to ensure my words are created of beauty, never venom
I believe in the sanctity of sisterhood
The privilege bestowed in the title of "sister"
I shall bring love into all of my endeavors
For love is the greatest power of all
I believe in strength aligned with temperance
Grace aligned with humility
I shall ever strive
To help my fellow man wherever needed
I believe in striving for the best always
In all I do
And striving for my own ideals
I believe in being true
To my sorority, my sisters, my family, my world
Most of all myself
