Pledging Underground
Greeting to all my A Phi A bruhs and AKA sisters. I was wondering what was you your view on those who pledge or pledged underground. I know how some of you feel about those who apply for membership over the net and those who just skate. But what about those who pledged/pledge underground and have no "paper".I mean do you still consider them to be bruhs. Let me know what you think.

If one did not cross how can anyone consider another a brother or sister. If someone did not make it then they just did not make it. I don't know what else to say?

Brother Tut,
R you talking about members who are already in the frat who went underground (which in many cases is just...)
Maybe you should e-mail me as I think this is a little sensitive!

First of all I would like to greek the finest and most intelligent men in greekdom as such. SKEEEEEEE-PHIIIIIII and 08 my frat bruhs.
I don't think you should be called a brother or soror until you participate in the rituals and the other offical things that really matter in the organization.
I think underground mean underhanded. Nine times out of ten all of the people participating on that line will not all go over. As a result, someone may trip and think that they did and now you have a situation where others see this person as a part but they will not be legit.
I don't know about that underground stuff. Out and the open means I will cross. And that has to be the goal. To cross.
Love yall

7BA94 -- whats correctly constitute?
pinkice9--- I'm feelin' you!!!!
As long as bruhs went through a process...they are brothers...but they must be recognized by nationals!!!!
Plus this 90s underground process doesn't do what the old process used to do...
it doesn't always work "for the better making of men!"

Skee-Phi my brothers!
Kingtut, it sounds as if your talking about "ghosts".... That's a tough one. I'd have to say no. If for some reason they were rejected by nationals, then I feel they should find out what the problem was, fix it, then try again next year. Regardless of how we may feel about MIP, acknowledging a ghost is in a sense condoning hazing, which is illegal. And if the ghost starts feeling as if they are a soror/frat and approach the wrong person, they could jeopardize that chapter as well as subject themselves to never obtaining membership and legal ramifications.

LOL!!! this topic is a matter of opinion and situation!!!
I wuz a "ghost" for 4 yearz... but i've been a brother for 4-1/2 yearz!!! how can i say that??? BECAUSE OF MY SITUATION!!! whut do you call it when you're not "rejected" by nationals, or the chapter... you pledge, you go through the rituals, you submit your money to nationals, they keep it for 10 months and send it back with no reasoning, you attend conventions, are recognized & respected around the country, yet, not in the system as being a member??? I call him a good bruh!!! dont be quick to hate on somebody that aint in the system, 'cause you dont know their situation...

Correctly should just be understood but, those who were pledged, initiated and have seen the light. So what nationals doesn't recognize them, they know what they need to know they are bruhs.

Wassup Bruh!
I feel for you man! Are the bruhs that made you still around? Tell them to go with you to the next Regional, and have them talk to the Vice-president about your situation. Hopefully, he'll take care of it for you. We had a couple of situations at my chapter. Me and a couple of other bruhs made a road trip and took care of it! You pledged; don't settle for less! Waiting on your ____ can be a "session" in itself! Welcome bruh!
