Happy Turkey Day Everybody!

Please be prayerful for me and my family. We are leaving for ATL tomorrow and this is my first flight since before 9/11. I'm a little nervous but I know all the Angels of the Lord will be around that plane.

A pre-birthday shout out to you know who...

This will be the first time EVER that we will not have all the fixins on T-giving day AT HOME or my sister's. My mother and I will be going to a restaurant.

This year T-giving will be held a day late at my place for the peeps coming to town for the 'Classic. Can you say that I am ready for this to be over with?

Toocute, everything will be fine as you fly out. Airports are safer than ever, but try to avoid wearing boots at the airport. In the airports I've been in, I've noticed that boot-wearers are chosen for the "random screening" It's happened to me everytime I wore them.

Toocute - girl, how you gonna leave me up here in NYC freezing while you are chilling in the ATL??? It's 35 degrees outside and Mother had to throw her shearling coat on - 'cause that's how we roll up Norf.

And don't I know how you feel girlie!!! I can't believe it snowed this morning while I was on my way to school. When I looked outside, the ground looked wet and I thought it was just rain. When I got on the bus, I saw the snow and thought, "Dang, it's been a long time since it snowed around Turkey Day." And just to let you know FeeFee, lil sunshine has a shearling too!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, I hope that everyone has a safe trip to and from your destination. I will not be doing any traveling, I was going to go back to Baltimore, but my grandfather just got out of the hospital this week, so Thanksgiving was basically "cancelled"...my grandmother just didn't feel up to it. I am missing my family...but I will be 'house-hopping' to get me some turkey!

Like I said, I hope that everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Don't shop too hard on Friday!!!

Girl it wasn't all THAT warm in the ATL. It was 29 degrees Thursday morning but it warmed up to about 60.

Thanks to all who sent my nervous behind blessings. The flights were fine and my baby boy was a perfect angel both trips.
