Smile How about them FSU noles AGAIN!!

Beaten to years in a row by NC State. NC State is the first to do that in the ACC since FSU joined. Two safteys in one game, how rare. Only low point of that game was when some idiot fans jumped the gun and tried to take the goal down with 8 secs on the clock left. State had me worried losing three straight before this game but the redeemed themselves. FSU has now lost 4 games and they still have to play Florida. What a good day.

So that sets up NC State with the ACC Trophy?

Don't think so they lost the three straight all to ACC teams. I think FSU and Maryland have to battle it out for the title.

Actually got this off of cbs.sportsline.com...

"Despite the loss, Florida State (8-4, 7-1) won the ACC title outright after Virginia beat Maryland 48-13, sending the Seminoles to a major bowl for the 11th time in the last 12 years."

So despite 8-4... they were 7-1 in the ACC. That conference is starting to look more like a Mountain West/Conference USA tier conference.

Except that OU scored two against Texas Tech tonight too, taking the score to 60-15.

Makes you wonder how they could have laid down like they did at A&M?

I know that's quite a shame. Maryland won the ACC last year though. NC State had a chance till they chocked at the end of the season losing to 3 ACC teams. They always manage to beat FSU though. If FSU loses to the Gators that could mean they would more than likely drop out of the top 25 and still be in a good bowl. Least they came no where near the national championships. lol

Maryland got whalloped in their bowl game last year and it looks like the same will happen to FSU this year. The only chance FSU would have of winning their bowl game is if Notre Dame plays FSU in a BCS game.

ansturge - you go to NCSU? I'm there too!!

It was quite a game yesterday! I wish we had done better the three games before though...but they were all very close...still this is the 1st year in NCSU history that we have won 10 games. And we even did it in the regular season!

Yay! Go WOLFPACK!
