When to say, "I Quit"

http://editorial.careers.msn.com/articles/time/

1.Key personnel no longer ask for your opinion.

2.You have been passed up for a promotion.

3.You have gone from being a stellar performer to doing nothing right.

4.The plum assignments keep going to other people.

5. Your boss tells the staff he is open to suggestions. But is he open to suggestions from you?

6. A larger company is buying out your company.

7. Everyone in management seems to be bailing.

8. Work is not fun anymore.

That's me!!!

Let's See........

3. My boss used to tell me all the time, "you are so polite", "you seem to handle the patients and the doctors well." Now it's like, "You're always late." "I don't think school is that important for you to be late." if anything goes wrong on the floor or if she's having a bad day, it's always the secretary's fault.

5. She does not want to hear anything I have to say. I'm not her "pet" so she ignores me.

7. Nearly all of my co-workers have left in the nearly 2 years that I have been there. I'm on a leave of absence now so that I could spend more time on my graduate studies. I am seriously thinking about leaving after Christmas break b/c she is so lowdown and sneaky. Example: I have a bachelor's degree, so in my state I can subsitute teach in the schools for like, $80-90 a day. Good money for a student who has free time. In the application process, I had to send an unprofessional conduct form to my current boss, have her fill it out and return it saying that I'm fit to work with kids. After 2 weeks, the school district sent me a letter saying that they have not received my form and I can't start work without it. I called her and she says that she sent it. Ok, I wait maybe 3 days. No letter was sent to them, so I call her again and she says that she sent it. Well, I asked for a copy of the form b/c the district said that they will accept a copy in lieu of the actual form, and guess what? She couldn't find it. That's because she never sent it!! In the end, I had a former employer send the form in and I'm working as a sub. I'm looking at another job right now and I'm not putting my current place of employment down b/c there's no telling what she'll tell them!!

8. All the fun people left. I think I might leave too at the end of next month, job or no job. I'll sub until graduation in May.
