Unhappy Products that you miss

Ever had any favorite products, such as food or drink, that has been taken off the shelf?

*Toasted cheese ravoli, they used to have it at Krieger's and in the grocery store, now they don't have it at neither, and I can't find it anywhere else.

*Durkee's Nacho Cheese Flavored Shoestring Potato Chips!

*SURGE is what got me through high school. That was some good sh*t! I remember it came out when I was a sophomore, they had a WHOLE vending machine with nothing but Surge in it. I noticed after a month it was gone, and I heard rumors that it was removed because it made us too hyper. But, it was extremely good for pulling all nighters and alertness for boring classes.

Egg Nog. I love the stuff and hate waiting until Christmas for it. MMMMmmmmm. Only about one more month.

Oh and I haven't seen any Big League Chew at the gas station in a while. I guess they don't make it cause they think it will promote tobacco use. Ohhh the good ole days with candy cigarettes and Big League Chew.

*KFC Chicken Littles (those little sandwiches for like 50 cents loaded with mayo)
*Crystal Pepsi

On a side note, Big League Chew was invented by a Delta Sig, brother James Bouton, former major league baseball layer and author of the controversial book "Ball Four"

There's a store in Chicago called FAO Schweetz that sells Big League Chew, or at least they did my first year at college. I managed to spend some ridiculous amount of money on it and when I got home I realized it was gum and no amount of nostalgia could have been worth that money.

Surge! Yes, Dionisys whenever I'd have a paper to write, I'd go buy a twelve pack, and drink it all in like one night. I think the reason that they took it away was because it lost it's appeal after a while, and many people didn't like the taste. Coke wanted to push the Mello Yello, because that is what they filled our machines old Surge slots with at my school. They also took away Citra, though I still see it at some stores. I really liked that, too.

That's what I heard too. But I thought Surge tasted great, better than any other caffinated soda! It tasted like a combo of Tang and Sprite.

12 pack in one night! I can just drink a can of that stuff and completely bounce off the walls. My mom put me out of the house once, for a few minutes, until I calmed down.

Orangina. Anybody know if they still make that? It is the best stuff ever. It is carbonated orange juice. No, not orange soda, but orange juice with carbonated water in it. I havent seen it in years.

They definitely still make Orangina. I'm in Indiana, and you can get it in grocery stores, health food stores, and ethnic groceries.

*Amen to Crystal Pepsi

*Tab. So what if it causes cancer?

*Gap Grass perfume. My most favorite scent ever, and they discontinued it. If they ever discontinue Clinque Tenderheart lipstick, I don't know what I'll do.

I see Orangina everywhere. I shop at a Whole Foods Market, and it's one of the few non-organic things they have. Plus, I was in Italy last semester, and they sell Orangina a lot of places.

*sighs and wipes away tears* Crystal Pepsi...

Oh, on the Big League Chew, it's all around here in Ohio. Even at some of the mom & pop stores. And if you look around at places like Big Lots and all, you can find Necco Candy Sticks, they're the same thing as the candy cigarettes, just different name

Munchkin's right about Orangina in Italy. I lived in Florence and my friends used to get that every day with lunch. Munchkin, where did you live?

Not that they've been discontinued-- as far as I know they still exist-- but I miss book orders. Remember when you were in elementary school and you got to order books straight from the publisher for cheap every month? We got them from tons of publishers, something like three every month, and I always ordered at least three books from each order. Books are one thing my mother never refused to buy me. But now I'm too old and there are no book orders for me any more.
