Which is better to rush??

Hey everyone! I won't be attending school until January. Would it be better for me to rush in the spring or should I just wait until next fall to rush?? Does it make a big difference? I hear that rush is a much more fun experience in the fall but I don't know! thanx in advance for the advice!

It all depends on when your school has formal rush. If they have formal rush in the fall, most likely the spring is continuous open bidding. Often not all sororities participate in that because it is mainly to help the smaller groups get the numbers up.

But there are schools who have "deferred" formal rush that isn't till the spring semester. However if your school works this way you may need to have a semester's worth of grades before you can pledge anywhere.

So I would definitely see when the next formal rush at your school is, so you can have all your options open.
