Van Wilder?

Has anyone else seen Van Wilder? If so what did you think about it?

I was at the store and thought it would be fun to get a new DVD. I just thought the movie was going to be way more funny than I actually found it to be, so needless to say, I was disappointed.

i felt the same way...we had a free preview on campus last spring before it was released. it was just an ok movie, and i expected it to be a lot funnier. the only thing that was funny about the greek parts was the girls shirt..."I love DIK" (delta iota kappa).

The first five minutes are hilarious. I love any movie with a disclaimer about how dirty it is going to be.

I think the gross factor outweighed the humor. Just thinking about the "chocolate eclairs" still makes me want to vomit!!!

Yeah, that was pretty gross, but I actually loved the movie, because 1) he was me in college 7 year student, lol, and 2) I dig college movies, road trip, etc. Just escapeism for me. I wanna get a new computer here at the office. When I do I gurantee it will have a DVD player so I can watch movies while I work. I am so much more productive with a TV on.

Though I liked it, I wish someone would make a teen or college movie that didn't have to result to sick cum and fart jokes to make me laugh. Election, for example.

it was your typical college movie, in my opinion. i agree about the overwhelming use of site gags and the gross factor. Sick boy still freaks me out. And that dog... holy sh*t!

Election was a good movie Stan... I will agree with you there. But it didn't get the credit it deserved.
