Have you checked out this site? I have cousins in Kansas and Tom Earp(?)on this board may be very familiar. From what little I know, it is competitive, but NOT to any degree like the South. KU is more competitive than K State and K State more so than Fort Hayes. Other than that, can't really help.

First off, let us not forget Pittsburg State U. the Home of the Gorillas!!!

I really cannot say how they do rush at K U as they have a lot of Fraternitys and Soroitys on campus! You will need to check them out yourself to see which one you fit into. What I have heard, their system is going through the same trials and tribulations that are all over the country! I know the AGD chapter moved into the DTD house as they had to leave campus because of money problems! But what from what I have seen and heard, the Soro's are all pretty strong! The AGD did not lose their house by the way, the school took @ 7 houses to build new apartments!

Anyone from the University of Kansas? I am rushing next month and I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips about KU specifically. I am really freaked out. I read peoples posts about stuff, and I am hoping KU is not the same as it is there. Isn't RUSH a lot bigger in the south? I am hoping KU is not quite as scary as they are making the other ones sound! Any tips???
