Personally, I'm eager to see how she decorates her jail cell. Hopefully, I won't have to wait too long.

I think she's amusing. I only watch her cooking show on Food Network. I find it funny because she's OCD when someone else is cooking with her--she is constantly cleaning up after them. Also, her mom seems just as psycho as she is.

I watched the E! Hollywood Story on her...I can't believe how cold she is. She was more concerned with her career and success than her daughter and family. Perhaps though that is only one side of the story, however I can see it being sorta true.

Personally I feel sad for her. She's worked so hard to get where she was before the scandal.

And have you noticed that she gets pissed when the guests try to do it their way instead of hers? Even if they happen to be the expert? Hmm...control issues much?

Hootie--I saw the same thing. I can't believe she used to be a model What was truly cold was when her husband was in the hospital with cancer and she didn't go visit him...she said her work was more important. Ugh.

I actually got a funny e-mail forward from one of my co-workers and it was a fake Martha Stewart magazine cover called "Martha Stewart Living...Behind Bars" and it had fake article titles. I would post it here but I can't figure it out. Oh well

I kinda liked her, she had a talent for what she did. But, when I learned more about her life, I lost respect. The "insider trading" scandal is typical of many with "friends in high places." They use this to their advantage over and over like its a "right" only they have. You would think with all their money they wouldn't have to be sooo greedy, but I guess its how they got where they are.

ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really thought I was the only one that HATED her..well, hate is a strong word. How about...

Detest
Dislike
Loathe
Nauseating
Grotesque
Fake

Those are ok. Now, what I hate is how she acts like she is the GURU of home living. Uh, no. Yall see her KMart commercials, where she says, You have to make the bed EVERY DAY with an attitude, for some reason that pissed me off. Who are you to tell me to make my bed, with your high priced sheets?? I mean, if you watch all the stuff she does on her show, I mean, she doesn't have time to do anything else in her life if she's gonna do all that unnecessary decorating. I mean, making a tablecloth and flower arrangements EVERYDAY??? Who has that kind of time???
But I huess she'll have ALL kinds of time soon! She can make up a nice steel grey themed comforter for her bunk with a nice cement block bookshelf or something LOL. I'm sorry, I just don't like her AT ALL.

LOL! This was good.

Martha Stewart doesn't really rub me either way. Then again I have only seen her show one time, when The Rock was on there making chocloate chip cookies. I do, however, think that Ana Gastyer (sp?) is freaking hilarious on SNL when she portrays MS.

Martha fan of sorts

Whatever you say about Martha Helen Kostyra Stewart, she has elevated homemaking to an art. My mother, in fact, is irked because she didn't think of commercializing homemaking.

She's actually part of elevating the country's mass taste level. The same forces that created Martha and B. Smith (who's also great, BTW, and has no legal issues that we know of) have also democratized style to the point where you can get decent clothes at places like Target, Gap, Banana Republic, Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel.

For that, Martha deserves props. I also like the fact that she, like Oprah Winfrey, is a media personality who is not terribly thin.

Not to mention my soror, Star Jones of the View, and Camryn Manheim of the Practice.

Sorry for hijacking the thread, folks.

Back to Martha, what trips me about this situation is that wascally Sam Waksal (the ImClone chief executive) was supposedly squiring Martha and Lexi, her daughter.
