FAVORITE OVERLOOKED WINTER MUSIC

Here we are, four short days into the season of WINTER, and already radio stations refuse to play WINTER songs just because CHRISTMAS is over.

What are some of YOUR favorite WINTER MELODIES that deserve to be heard by a radio audience during January, February and March?

I'll start the list with "White World of Winter" by Bing Crosby.

The two minute, 1965 Hollywood Palace YouTube video of this tune is corny but fun.

Most of the music I think of as winter-sounding are types of extreme metal, which it's exactly radio friendly.

One of the local high school choirs has sung this for years at their winter concerts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EhJ4mKTXivY

I go from Twila Paris's 'It's The Thought" to Mannheim Steamroller's "Christmas" to Celtic Woman's "The Best Of Christmas".
