I would think that the queen is Whitney Houston, even though she used to cross over when she first came out. She always especially now swing the R&B way. She has a new single out call "whatcha' looking at" I haven't heard much hoopla about it. But to me Whitney will always be #1, despite her collission with drugs in the past.
Mary is the queen of hip-hop.
Aretha is the queen of soul.

BAS'Y!!!!! (That's basically for short for you squares!) But for real though, to me, the R&B king is Rra. I think that he's a very talented artist who has a sexual fetish/problem. But you must remember that this is what makes him HUMAN at the end of the day. JMHO.... I think the queen of R&B has already been stated previously, so I won't list who I think it is. Oh BTW, don't you mean "Michelle" Jackson is the "Queen" of Pop? Like I said before, he was born a Black man and will die a White woman!!!
