I have always wanted to be in a sorority, but i attend a junior college. Someone from csu chico that i know asked me to plegde I was wondering do I have to be asked to join a sorority and do I have to go to the csu?

I went to the University of Michigan. At one point in time we used to be able to recruit from a community college close to our school. Due to changing rules with our PanHellenic Council, only women from our school were able to join sororities on our campus. If I were you I would contact that organization and see what their regulations are. Good luck, sorority life is something that everyone should experience!!

If the sorority is local (i.e. their only chapter is at csu chico) you may be allowed to pledge.

However, if it is a national sorority, you should check with the national hq to make sure this is legit.
