Metro D.C. Que Picnic

The Second Annual Ques In The Park Cookout 2002 for the Metro DC Area will be soon upon us. The details are as follows:

DATE: Saturday, August 24, 2002
TIME: Noon - 6 PM
WHERE: Wilmer's Park
Brandywine, Maryland.

This year's event promises to be bigger and better than last year's, and if you missed it, well, just come out this year and enjoy Great "Omega Love" from the Ques of the Metro DC Area!

Participating Chapters in the Second Annual Ques In The Park Cookout are:

Kappa Psi Chapter - Washington, DC
Gamma Pi Chapter - Prince Georges County Maryland
Lambda Gamma Gamma Chapter - Ft. Meade, Maryland
Mu Rho Chapter - Annapolis, Maryland
Omicron Kappa Kappa Chapter - Herndon, Virginia
Pi Omega Chapter - Baltimore, Maryland
Psi Alpha Alpha Chapter - Fairfax County, Virginia
Psi Nu Chapter - Alexandria, Virginia
Tau Pi Chapter - Columbia, Maryland

The 2nd page of the flyer has directions to Wilmer's Park.

Bring your lawn chairs and canopies (limited seating is available).

I'm moving to DC this weekend--got a new job there! I may be staying in Silver Spring until I get settled in my own place. Where is Upper Marlboro? Maybe we can hook up!

I was there too and despite the humidity, it was a good time. The bruhz were out and the sorors were deep. I did notice quite alot of pink and green in the spot

I actually attended this function myself. It's been a long while since I've been to a Que function...and I got to see a lot of people I hadn't seen in years so that was cool! Who knows...I might go back next year...

That weekend is my guy's birthday weekend and I think we're going out of town (if I can find some cheap tickets

I attending the picnic as well and enjoyed myself immensley. I was visiting my sorhor for the week (I'm from Boston) and met some really nice Omega men even some ones from Boston that I knew. That was my first Que function that I have ever went to.

I haven't "eaten" with these guys in a good while! I been so busy. I used to get mail about the Ques in the Kitchen. I'm sure yall had a good time. I always enjoy myself at their functions.
