What to expect rushing in the SEC

I'll be attending an SEC school next fall and will be rushing and wanted to know what I should expect or know before walking into rush? I've heard rushing at a school in the SEC is far different than rushing anywhere else, so if there's anything I should know that can prepare me or let me know what I'll be walking into, I'd love to know!

The SEC definitely has a range of competitiveness, for lack of a better word. Recruitment at Bama is very different than recruitment at Kentucky. Each school has its own characteristics and trademarks. Do a search on here or using google for "recruitment at XXXX" and that will give you a better idea. Or search for the threads on here that are school specific. Best wishes to you, good to see you're doing your homework early! Preparation is the key at the majority of SEC schools.

You would do well to acquaint yourself with the threads concerning your school in the Sorority Rush forum.
-Start looking for recs NOW - especially with NPC Badge Day being this Monday.
-Know the players (sororities on your campus).
-Keep an open mind.
