The original Alpha Xi Delta was next door to the Gamma Phi Beta house, catty corner from the side of KD and facing DDD. It was a pretty French provincial style house and much smaller than other houses. After they closed in the early 80s it became a fraternity house. It would be cool if this was their temp home.
Where is the AOPi house? Stillwater isn't as landlocked as some other campuses, although orgs have to purchase multiple small homes to make it work.
Also...YEA for FSUZeta niece!!

I took those pics of the front elevation from the Pi Phi driveway, if that helps.

The completed AOII Oklahoma State home looks better now than it's original drawing with twelve columns.

I'm not sure if the house we're using is our original house but the address is 1415 W. Third Ave if that helps

That location is correct for the original AXiD house and it matches Katmandu's description.

Looking at Google earth, it looks like the location is good, but maybe a 3rd floor needs to be added to make it compete. Who owns that house?

I don't know who owns it. I think TKE was in it for a while?

If it is indeed our original house, that's a cool piece of history, though I hope we can get something a little more updated for our permanent house

Congrats to her! The Zeta house is a stunning 1920/30's Tudor directly across from Theta pond.
Also 1415 third sounds right for the original AXi house. It was a pretty house, built in the 60's and new to them when they came on campus. Dean Thelma Patchin, dean of women was instrumental in bringing them on and fought their closing with all she had, but the numbers weren't there in the 70s. She's smiling from heaven for sure!
Thanks irishpipes, I can picture exactly where AOPi is! It is a looker!
