New Hairstyle

I am looking for a new hairstyle. I have had everything from long to very short. Right now my hair is slightly past my shoulders and it needs some serious work. I'm thinking about going for something short but I need something low maintenance...I'm a get-up-and-go kind of girl (my husband takes longer to get ready than I do!).

Anyway, can anyone suggest any sites online that I could glance at?

Thanks!

Hmm... well it depends if your hair is thin or thick, but I just did a major re-do of my hair...

It was about the length of yours, but it's very very thin and fine. I got several inches cut off, so it's bobbed about halfway between my chin and shoulders, and I curl it up on the ends to give it a little flip. It's got so much more life now... you might want to try something like that.

Unfortunately, my hair is very thin and very fine so when it gets too long it looks stringy. I have a 45 minute drive to work so I usually just let my hair air dry. I want something that I don't have to curl everyday...very low maintenance.

I know, I know...I'm being difficult. But the last time I got my hair styled I did the flip thing and it takes too much time for me in the morning.

I actually just got a choppy bob just past my chin too. The thing is, when you have short, fine hair it dries really fast. Sometimes I just towel dry, run some thick gel through it to give it texture then let it dry on the way to work. I might have to piece through it with my fingers when I get there but it's pretty low maintance.

Well I went and did it last night...I cut off just about all my hair. I was thinking about getting it cut into a bob and I ended up changing my mind. I decided to have it cut above my ear. There was more hair on the floor than on top of my head!

Congratulations! That's my Euro cut. Every time I go to Europe, I hack all my hair off. It's quite liberating. I just ran some gel through it as I flew out the hotel door. Try spiking it a bit in the front for a change of style. Think Selma Blair, not Shirley Manson.

I've had my hair cut like this before so I don't have to play around with it to find a style that I like. Five minutes with the blowdryer and I'm done...woo hoo!!!

Here is what it looked like last time (the second picture, I'm the one on the far right) http://www.alphathetachi.net/photo_p...ng/default.htm

What do ya think?

Are you the blond in the black shirt on the second picture in the slideshow? If so I would have to say that the style definitely suits you. Congrats.

Don't ya just love getting lots of hair cut off? There's something so liberating about it.

Yep, that would be me. That's a picture from October 2000. My haircut now is very similar to that.

It's great getting all your hair cut off...less work in the morning!!!
